The learners gained an opportunity to strengthen their appreciation for crop production and expand their agricultural horizon. The learners were exposed to the culture practices of cole crops, tillage radishes as a cover crop, farm fresh demonstrations, starting seeds at home, how to recognize poisonous plants, and a different variety of turnip greens.
Warner's Hall farm also partners with agencies like USDA and Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry for efficient ways to provide fresh produce for families.

We’re proud to announce a new partnership with Flying Ghost Productions, expanding opportunities for our learners through Work-Based Learning.Flying Ghost is no stranger to St. Helena School District from capturing our games to recording school board meetings, their work already connects our community. Now, as an official partner, they’ll help our district earn accountability points recognized by the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) while giving our learners hands-on experience in media production and digital storytelling. Stayed turned for details about the intern and this partnership.

This project not only enhances their understanding of animal husbandry and sustainable farming practices, but also contributes to our school’s commitment to experiential education. The coop will house chickens raised by the learners, and will serve as a living classroom for lessons in biology, responsibility, and entrepreneurship.

Ms. Courtney’s interns showed up bright and early this morning united, proudly representing the AVENGERS! 💥 They earned their AVENGER shirts as the first challenge winners with the lowest number of discipline referrals in September. Their pride is undeniable, and they’re already planning future missions. The Class of 2026 believes they will conquer ALL the October missions… but the question remains: WHO WILL RISE? WHICH SUPERHERO SOCIETY WILL CLAIM VICTORY NEXT? 👀 The Avengers are ready and they "want y’all to remember them." #superheroes #Avengers #interns #seniors #StHelenaWinning
