Today’s virtual lesson portion focused on Self-Advocacy: Asking for Help. Learners discussed why asking for help can feel difficult, how to navigate those moments, and the powerful benefits that come when you do. 💡 They share that their biggest takeaway is that it’s not a sign of weakness to ask... it’s a strength that makes them better.

Our learners didn’t just show up, they showed out! ✨
Every detail came together, from being dressed for success (thanks to the support of our superintendent) to practicing networking skills in the classroom and then stepping into the room with pure confidence. 💼
They shook hands, asked questions, and connected with employers face-to-face for the very first time. The employers noticed too ... our interns received countless compliments on their professionalism and potential. 🌟
We were all so proud of how they represented themselves, their families, and our school and district. What you see here is more than a captured moment, these are the first steps toward real opportunities for the future.
