We had our first Jacket Ceremony today and it was such a special one! 18 of our Class of 2026 athletes were honored and the smiles said it all. Big thanks to the parents, staff, and community members who came out to support. The kids LOVED their jackets! This inaugural event is just the beginning of many more celebrations to come!”

Friday learners had their very first Pharmacy Club meeting, and it was such a great moment to see them excited about exploring careers in pharmacy and healthcare. We’re proud of the energy they’re bringing and can’t wait to watch them grow through this new opportunity! The club is made possible through a partnership with Xavier University of New Orleans. Their collaboration provides not only resources but also inspiration, showing our learners what’s possible when schools and universities work together. We are very grateful for this partnership and excited about the doors it continues to open.

Thursday, September 11th, we will honor the Class of 2026 as they receive their Letterman Jackets in the Auditorium. Parents of honorees are invited to attend, and learners will have opportunities for photos and light refreshments afterward.

Yesterday our internship class took part in a Professionalism Workshop with Silva from North Oaks. They learned how to prepare before applying for jobs, use appropriate emails and phone formats, and avoid common mistakes that turn employers away. They also practiced interview skills, explored sample questions to ask, and even delivered their own elevator pitches. We are so proud of how professionally our interns showed up dressed for success, engaged, and eager to grow! #InternshipCentral
