Another Hawks is about to soar to higher heights! Join us in celebrating our senior, Tristan Hookfin, a 1,000-point scorer and 1st Team All District in LHSAA District 9-2A, as she signs her official letter of intent to compete in collegiate athletics at BRCC! Tristan will make history as the first female athlete from SHCCA in over 15 years to sign a collegiate letter of intent while still in high school.

This initiative provided a powerful and timely opportunity for our young men to engage in meaningful dialogue centered on planning for a successful future.

Good evening: St. Helena College and Career Academy will resume at its regular time tomorrow (4/2/26) under a boil advisory. Water bottles will be available for everyone and cafeteria meals will be properly adjusted.

ATTENTION: Due to the length of their routes, the learners who attend SHATA and ELC who ride Mr. Holden, Mr. Baker and Mr. Welch's buses must also be dismissed at 1:00pm.

Greetings Parents, Due to an unforeseen issue with the town’s water system, St. Helena College and Career Academy will not have water supply for the remainder of the day. As a result, the College and Career Academy has no choice but to dismiss school at 1:00pm today. Please note that this early dismissal applies only to the College and Career Academy; the other two schools will continue normal operations. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, without water, kids cannot use the restroom and the food service staff cannot prepare their regular meals. The health and safety of our learners and staff remain our top priority, and we must ensure a clean and sanitary environment. We are in communication with the Office of Emergency Preparedness and the Town of Greensburg and will share updates as we receive them. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Congrats to SHCCA for winning the 2026 LSBA Video Contest! Schools were challenged to produce a video that highlights the people and programs that make our school a place where possibilities are endless. This accomplishment highlights the power of our district’s vision and the impact of providing access to programs such as dual enrollment, industry-based certifications, and innovative learning platforms that prepare our learners for success beyond high school.

On March 26, 2026, all Math teachers at SHATA and SHCCA received certificates recognizing their completion of the Math Observation PD Cycles for the 2025–2026 school year. This comprehensive year-long cycle led by Dr.Johnpaul included ongoing coaching support and 10 three-week cycles designed to strengthen instructional practices and build teacher capacity. We are incredibly proud of the dedication, growth, and commitment shown by our math educators. Your hard work continues to positively impact learner learning every day. Congratulations to all!

This year, Mrs. Nettles led a year-long ELA Observation Cycle focused on strengthening instruction and improving outcomes for our learners. Through ongoing professional learning, learning walks, and in-classroom support, teachers were equipped with the tools and strategies needed to elevate teaching and learning across our district. We are proud of our teachers’ dedication and growth this year and are excited to see the continued impact in classrooms across the district!

Congratulations to our Region VIII Winners: 2nd Place- Micah Starks and Serenity Lonon. 3rd Place- Christopher Atkins-Holmes. Micah & Serenity will represent St. Helena at the State Social Studies Fair in Lafayette! Our learners represented St. Helena with excellence, showcasing their knowledge, creativity, and dedication through high-quality research projects and presentations.
