Come out and show your support!

Southeast Community Health Systems is offering vision testing at Greensburg schools to support the health and wellness of our students during a well-child, sports physical, or preventative visit. Early detection is key to ensuring students succeed academically and beyond. The Vision Screener tool is a handheld, portable device that allows for fast, non-invasive vision screening. If the screening shows that your child may need further care, we will contact you. You will receive a summary of the results and, if needed, a recommendation to schedule a full eye exam with an optometrist.

Power has been fully restored at the Early Learning Center, and we are pleased to announce that we will resume our normal school schedule tomorrow. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigated the challenges caused by this morning’s severe weather. The safety and well-being of our learners and staff remain our top priority, and we are grateful for the cooperation of our families and community during this time. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for a regular school day.
All ELC learners are being transported to SHATA to continue the school day at that location. There is ample space for everyone.
Weather conditions are expected to improve by mid-morning. However, the day will not be counted against any learner who remains home today. All special school day events are cancelled at ELC. We will notify everyone later today if after-school events at SHCCA will be cancelled.
Severe weather conditions are moving at a rapid pace and we are aware of the many power outages around the parish. The school day will not be counted against any learner if their parent(s)/guardian decide to keep them home today. ELC learners who arrived at school this morning are currently in the gym. They will be transported to SHATA if power isn't restored. Electricity is working at SHCCA.
Electricity is working at SHATA and SHCCA. However, there is a power outage at ELC. All learners who arrived at school this morning are housed in the gym at this time. Buses will transport them to SHATA for the school day if power is not restored. Please share this message with family and friends.
