📚✨ #WaybackWednesday ✨📚
We’re taking it back to when our 3rd graders were all smiles and excitement after receiving free books to read at home! 📖💙 Encouraging a love for reading starts early, and we’re so proud of their enthusiasm!
Parents, here are 3 easy tips to help your child become a stronger reader beyond just books:
1️⃣ Read social media captions: Ask your child to read posts or captions aloud while scrolling together. It’s a fun way to build fluency and comprehension!
2️⃣ Text you a paragraph: Have your child text you a short paragraph about how their day was to practice writing and reading.
3️⃣ Read signs and billboards: While driving, encourage your child to read road signs, store names, and billboards. It’s a simple way to make reading part of everyday life!
Let’s keep nurturing these young readers and showing them that reading is everywhere! #sthelenawinning

Our learners tackled grade-level lessons today with enthusiasm! During one activity, Fast Fact Fluency, they participated in an exciting relay race. Before racing back to their teammates, they had to solve a fluency problem—combining learning and fun! #sthelenawinning
