Today, our little learners paraded in true Mardi Gras style, filling the air with music, dance, and joy! 🎷✨ A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Carter and the SHCCA band for bringing the rhythm, and to Ms. Davis and her SHATA dancers for their amazing moves! 💃🏾🎶

Our amazing 1st-grade learners have been hard at work researching and presenting on some of the most inspiring figures in Black history! 🌟 From Rosa Parks and her courageous stand for civil rights 🚌 to Barack Obama, our first Black president 🇺🇸—our learners have beautifully showcased these changemakers through posters, presentations, and creative projects.
