Today our learners enjoyed a sweet treat in celebration of National Lemonade Day! Through our Lena’s Closet/Food Pantry, we partnered with Lane Gabriel and the Walker Raising Cane’s to provide refreshing lemonade for our learners. 🥤

We are so grateful for community partners who continue to pour into our school and create special moments for our Hawks! 💛

Ms. Dunn explicitly taught her first-grade learners how to make 10 to add within 20. She modeled the strategy and expectations, then gave learners opportunities to actively apply their learning through visual and hands-on representations.
