Ms. Gordon brought the MAGIC to her classroom as learners explored how Magic E transforms short vowel sounds into long vowel sounds! 🪄✏️
Through explicit modeling, purposeful questioning, and active learner responses, our young Hawks practiced reading, writing, and building new words. Learners were engaged and putting their phonics skills into action!

Mr. Harrell and his learners put their math thinking into action! Learners solved a word problem using strategies such as RDW (Read, Draw, Write) and counting on to make sense of their thinking and find solutions.
They then continued building number sense by working with numbers in word form. We love seeing our learners actively thinking, solving, and showing their work! 💛
