Dear Parents and Guardians of St. Helena College and Career Academy,
In light of the impending storm, we will be dismissing school early today at 2:30 PM. To ensure everyone's safety, there will be no school on Wednesday, September 11th.
For those students who were present today, assignment packets have been sent home. On Thursday, September 12th, we will transition to a virtual learning day. Students will be expected to complete their assignments and participate in Teams meetings from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for direct instruction.
We plan to resume in-person classes on Friday, September 13th. However, we understand that the storm may affect families in different ways, and some students may face challenges with participation due to evacuations, power outages, or storm damage. Please know that while we expect students to engage in virtual learning, we will be flexible and understanding of each family's situation.
Your safety and well-being are our top priority. Thank you for your cooperation and stay safe.
