2026–2027 Local Literacy Plan

St. Helena Arts and Technology Academy is committed to building strong readers, writers, thinkers, and communicators. Our 2026–2027 Local Literacy Plan outlines how we will provide high-quality, standards-aligned literacy instruction for learners in Grades 4–6.

The plan focuses on strengthening literacy achievement through high-quality Tier I instruction, evidence-based writing, targeted intervention and extension, ongoing progress monitoring, professional learning for teachers, and meaningful family engagement.

Families are an important part of this work. Throughout the year, we will provide families with information about literacy expectations, learner progress, assessment results, and practical ways to support reading and writing at home. We invite our families and community to review the complete plan and learn more about how we are working together to help every learner grow as a confident and capable reader and writer.
