Celebrate science, technology, engineering, and math at the Back-to-School STEM Fest at Southeastern! 

This annual event is hosted by Southeastern Louisiana University, and organized by Northshore STEM. Over 50 organizations from industry, education, and community partners make STEM Fest a one-stop-shop to learn about local STEM opportunities for K-12, college, and beyond!

WHY: 

  • STEM is not just for fun, it is a pathway to prosperity with high wage, high demand jobs making the world a better place for all. 

WHAT:

  • Explore hands-on, minds-on STEM activities for the whole family (high school to early learning) in esports, robotics, health and medical, the environment and more from NASA, The Audubon Zoo, Southeastern, Northshore College and more!
  • Information on college and careers for high school students.
  • Find more STEM throughout the school year: clubs, teams, afterschool…
  • Parent tips to support STEM learning and prepare youth for college and careers in STEM.
  • Food available to purchase from non-profit organizations.
  • FREE ADMISSION! All STEM activities are also no-cost!

WHO:

  • STEM Fest is for everyone! Students of all ages, parents, educators, and anyone who wants to experience STEM in our community!
