We are proud to celebrate another achievement for St. Helena Parish School District! Our schools have been recognized for outstanding Louisiana Lift Zearn implementation during the 2025–2026 school year and received Zearn Recognition Pins in honor of this accomplishment.
This recognition is especially meaningful because more than 50% of our learners completed 60 or more Zearn lessons during the 2025–2026 school year!
And the results speak for themselves.
As a result of our intentional focus on mathematics instruction and the consistent implementation of programs like Zearn, St. Helena Parish School District ranked #7 in the state for growth in the percentage of learners earning Mastery and Advanced on LEA in Math!
That is what makes this recognition so important. It is not simply about how often a program was used, it is about the impact that strong implementation, quality instruction, and consistent practice can have on learner achievement.
Our teachers embraced the work. Our school leaders remained focused on implementation. Most importantly, our learners put in the effort and their performance demonstrates what can happen when the right systems and supports are in place.
We are extremely proud of our schools for earning this recognition, but we are even prouder that the work is translating into stronger academic outcomes for our learners.
We celebrate the progress while recognizing that there is still more work to do. We will continue building on what works, strengthening instruction, and pushing toward even greater levels of achievement.
The work is working. The data is moving. Our learners are growing.
