Mrs. Lillie D. Anderson

Born and raised in the neighboring state of Mississippi, I joined the United States Air Force immediately after graduating from Amite County High School in Liberty, Mississippi. My first military station was the beautiful city of Frankfurt, Germany. After leaving the military, I settled down in Greensburg, Louisiana, where I was introduced to Head Start.

I was a Head Start teacher at St. Helena Head Start for almost 15 years before joining the team at S.H.E.L.C.  I received my A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education at Louisiana Technical College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2003. I went on to graduate with a B.S. in General Studies in 2012 from Southeastern Louisiana University, in Hammond Louisiana. I also received my Master of Arts in Education from Ashford University in 2014. I completed my teacher certification program in the Spring of 2016 through iTeach of Louisiana.

It is an honor to work with your Pre-K students this year.
