    Schools that achieve agreement around expectations for classroom instructional practices and systematically influence teacher-to-teacher coherence with regard to these practices can alter the general conditions for learning in ways that are conducive to student learning success. In other words, when teachers share knowledge about teaching excellence and agree to act together, good things happen for students in classrooms.

    We’ve laid out a Blue Print to Excellence that has VITAL GOALS with BOLD PLAYS that will foster a solid educational foundation for our students, ensure sustainable success, and set attainable goals toward our vision. We look forward to the opportunities ahead as we strive to achieve our vision. Our dedication and commitment to the children of this parish will prevail and new public school district will emerge that this community can be proud of and support.

  • 2017-2018 Blueprint to Excellence

    Our Blueprint to Excellence continues to be the key drivers behind our work in St. Helena Parish. This year's plan lists our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis). This process allowed Leadership Team members and School Board members to reflect on the initiatives that we've implemented. As a result of this analysis, our Blue Print to Excellence has changed.

    As we look forward to establishing this parish as one of the best in the state of Louisiana, our focus is on improving the performance of our students through rigorous professional development for our educators, and relevant instruction in the classroom. We understand that sustainable growth must be achieved. A relentless focus on the specific needs of our students will bring about this positive change as we look to achieve our bold goal of achieving a “Top 20” status within five years.
