supply kit

St. Helena Arts and Technology Academy is pleased to offer the opportunity for parents to preorder school supplies for next year through Schoolkidz, a Staples affiliate.
The supplies are high quality and are offered at a discount. The grade bundles cost from $62 to $72, depending on the grade level.
You can order online with a credit card. The website link is www.shopttkits.com and SHATA's school account number is 22950.  That is all you need to place an order online. The web site will be functional from May 25 through June 6. All orders will be packaged, labeled, and delivered to school for the start of school. We hope you enjoy taking advantage of this effective and convenient service!

Greeting parents,

Our 5th and 6th grade students will be taking the computer-based LEAP 2025 test. Our testing window begins April 3, 2017. Our 5th and 6th grade teachers will focus on preparing your child to succesfully manage the online tools for these assessments. These tools provide sample items of technology-enhanced questions to allow students to become comfortable with a computer based testing format. Please prepare students to work with these tools for the upcoming state test.

To access the  Online Tools Training (OTT) at home, please do the following:

In Google Chrome, go to: wbte.drcedirect.com/LA. (Google Chrome is the only web browser that will run the OTT.)

Select the Online Tools Training found under LEAP Practice Test.
Select the course then grade span in which you’re enrolled.
Type in the Username and Password listed on the screen and click SIGN IN.
Click CONTINUE, then the name of the course. Read the following screens and click NEXT as you finish each one. When you’re ready, select BEGIN THE TEST which will start the training session.
Please practice at home with your child. If you have any questions about the Online Tools Training, please contact your child’s teacher.
Thank you.

Explain- to tell how

Ways to incorporate this word into everyday activities at home:

• Have your child explain to you how to do their math homework.

• Ask your child to explain the differences of two foods on their dinner plate.

All students who move up an achievement level in at least one subject area will be rewarded with an offsite trip to Area 51 Sports!
