The St. Helena Parish School Board is currently taking applications for bus operators (drivers). The following will be required:
-
Minimum age of 21
-
Current Louisiana (CDL) license with Type C or B, S, Passenger (P) endorsements and air brakes authorization
-
Physical Examination
-
Pre-Service training - (30 hours classroom instruction and 10 hours on bus)
-
Ability to purchase bus if hired (bus must meet requirements as outlined in Bulletin 1213)
Also, applicants will have a criminal background check with fingerprinting and a driving record review.
